The global nursing workforce has grown from 27.9M in 2018 to 29.8M in 2023, yet significant disparities remain across regions, leaving many communities without essential health services, according to the State of the World’s Against this backdrop, Zetech University led by the Dean, School of Health Sciences, Dr. Lydia Mwanzia PhD FHEA, partnered with KenyanNurse Consultants LTD, led by Edwin Simiyu, RN, in a high-level dialogue on the status of nursing education and labour mobility of health workers. Zetech University is committed to working with like-minded partners in creating global pathways for our Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) graduates — including international job placements, student exchange programmes, and career guidance. By investing in nursing education and global collaboration, we aim to empower health workers and contribute to progress towards Universal Health Coverage (UHC) and stronger health systems worldwide.
